Embarkation and a 4:00 pm sailaway.
Scenic cruising through forested coastline, mountains and islands.
Docked 1:30 pm–9:00 pm. Our bear-watching day.
Scenic cruising 9:30 am–2:30 pm.
Docked 7:30 am–7:00 pm. Dog sledding and the Red Dog Saloon.
Docked 1:30 pm–8:00 pm. Creek Street and the Lumberjack Show.
Final scenic cruising day.
Arrived back at 6:00 am.
Check-in and bag drop was seamless — literally onboard and through passport control within 15 minutes of arriving at the port. The airport authorities could learn a lesson or two from these cruise ship crews!
There's absolutely loads to do onboard — trivia, pub quizzes, spa treatments, cocktails... and that's just before lunch! We dipped our toes into a couple of the quizzes and, would you believe it, we actually won one!
The cocktail menu was thoroughly explored — purely for research purposes, of course. Dinner at Murano's was DIVINE, and we also tried our luck in the casino, which basically means we donated a few dollars to the ship's retirement fund. 😂
