Real travel, no fluff
Two for the Row’d is what happens when two Irish people with a love of a good story, a bit of craic, and the odd adventure decide to bring the internet with them.
We’re Nicola and Padraig — husband, wife, and travel partners in crime from Carlow — sharing honest travel reviews, hidden gems, hotel stays, gluten-free finds, road-trip moments, and the kind of real-world adventures that don’t come wrapped in a polished postcard.
The real version. The funny version. The “we nearly missed that” version.
We share travel the way it actually happens: getting lost, finding brilliant spots by accident, chatting to locals, eating well, learning bits of history, and always coming home with a story.
From hidden places in Ireland to Morocco desert tours, city breaks, cafés, and small group adventures, our content blends:
- Honest travel reviews
- Humour and storytelling
- Hidden gems and local history
- Gluten-free travel finds
- Practical tips for real travellers
- Hotel stays and tour experiences we’d genuinely recommend
Across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, our audience follows along because it feels like travelling with us — not being sold to from a distance.
We’re proud TourRadar Ambassadors and we share the trips, tours, and travel experiences we’ve genuinely enjoyed — especially for people who want the adventure without the headache of planning every single detail themselves.

These are the travel bits we genuinely rate — the simple things that make holidays easier, less stressful, and a lot more comfortable.
Over the years, and after a few stressful airport moments of our own, these are the things we keep reaching for when we travel. They’re practical, easy to pack, and actually useful rather than gimmicky.
From avoiding overweight baggage fees to sleeping a bit better on flights, these are the travel products we’d happily recommend.

Luggage Scale
A tiny thing that can save you a lot of airport stress. We always check our bags before leaving the house now rather than standing at check-in hoping for the best.
Packing Cubes
These make packing far less chaotic and help you fit so much more into your suitcase. Handy for keeping outfits, chargers, and random bits organised too.
Travel Adapter
One of those things you only forget once. A good adapter is a must if you're heading abroad and don’t want the panic of realising nothing fits the plug socket.
Travel Pillow
Flights are much more bearable with a decent travel pillow. This is one of those comfort buys that ends up being well worth it, especially on longer journeys.
Why we picked these
We didn’t want this page full of random Amazon clutter. These are the kinds of products that solve actual travel problems — packing better, staying organised, avoiding surprise baggage fees, and making flights a bit more comfortable.
If we add more to this page over time, it’ll only be things we’d genuinely use ourselves.
Morocco Series
Our Morocco Journey
If you’re looking for an honest review of a Morocco tour, this is the page for you.
Morocco had been on our list for ages, and this trip brought us through some of the most incredible landscapes and experiences we’ve ever had — from the busy streets of Marrakech to the silence of the Sahara Desert, from the Atlas Mountains to ancient kasbahs and traditional Berber towns.
We booked our Morocco trip through TourRadar, and the tour itself was run by Morhara Morocco Tours. We also explored Marrakech on a walking tour with Ali from Get Marrakech, which gave us a brilliant intro to the city’s food, culture, history, and chaos.
Over the course of the journey we travelled through the Atlas Mountains, visited Aït Benhaddou, stayed in desert locations, explored traditional villages, visited women’s cooperatives, and experienced a proper Sahara desert camp under the stars.
This Morocco series follows the route of our journey and gives you a real feel for what a multi-day Morocco tour is actually like — the scenery, the stops, the pace, the good bits, and the little surprises along the way.
Thinking of booking the Morocco Tour we did?
This is the exact tour we booked — and honestly, we couldn’t fault it.
From Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains, desert camps, local guides, and all the stops in between — everything was organised for us, which meant we could actually enjoy the experience instead of stressing about logistics.
If you want the same route, the same experience, and a proper feel for Morocco without having to plan every detail yourself, you can check it out below.
